Thomas Doeppner may come any time he arrives. We will have a room for him. If it is possible please let us know it in advance.

A simple postcard (likely in response to a request by Charlotte Salmon) lets us know that there is room in the inn for Opa. Bryn Mawr agreed to host him in Philadelphia when he lands and needs to get his ducks in a row to start the trip to the American Midwest. 

It isn't much, but it's just another open door, another welcome mat, another act of hospitality. For that, I'm grateful.
